Ways to Give

coupons-colors

Thomas at AnnunciationThank you for considering a gift to the Colorado Vincentian Volunteers (CVV). Your tax deductible donation will change lives for good! By contributing to CVV, you are a Companion on the Journey of the CVV volunteers and those they serve, including: children in under-served schools; patients who need health care; hungry seniors; runaway youth; & families who are homeless in over 20 local non-profits, schools, clinics and agencies.

The Many Ways To Give To Colorado Vincentian Volunteers

Regardless of how you choose to make a gift, remember that the Colorado Vincentian Volunteers is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

“I came across the familiar story of the rich man showing off all the money he is giving and the poor woman giving everything she has. So here is what I have. CVV has given me so much and I wish I could give more and do more but I’m happy to give anything. It’s not much but I’m so happy to give it!” -M.Y., CVV Alum donor

Online Giving

Contributions on-line can be made by clicking on the “Donate Now” button on this page or go to www.coloradogives.org . These contributions are safe and secure.
Consider making a regular monthly gift. By spreading your payments across the course of the year, you can multiply the size of your overall donation and increase your impact for CVV.

Monthly       Year-End

$10    DSC_4374                $120
$20                   $240
$25                   $300
$50                   $600
$75                   $900
$100              $1,200
$150              $1,800

Traditional Mail

If you would prefer to make your donation through the mail, write your check payable to Colorado Vincentian Volunteers and send it to:

Colorado Vincentian Volunteers
1732 Pearl St.
Denver, CO 80203

Memorial and Honorary Gifts

Any donation you make can become a tribute gift. For birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, promotions, holidays, or in memory of someone who has died, you can honor your loved ones with a gift to CVV. Be sure to make note of it along with your check or online donation.

Matching Gifts

Your employer may match your donation to CVV. Contact your HR or payroll department about your company’s matching-gift policy; some even match gifts made by spouses or retirees. When you send us your signed form, the impact of your gift may be doubled, or even tripled.

Securities

If the stock you donate has appreciated in value from the time of your purchase, you can avoid paying future capital gains tax by donating shares directly to CVV. The full value of the shares at the time of the donation is tax deductible. Call (303) 863-8141, or email cvv@covivo.org for more information.

Bequests

You can make a lasting contribution toward our mission by considering a bequest to CVV through your will or living trust. Simply include the following language in your will or trust:
I hereby give to the Trustees of Colorado Vincentian Volunteers, a Colorado charitable corporation, federal tax identification number 84-1286894, the following described property:
the sum of $__________, OR ____ percent (%) of the residue of my estate.
Call (303) 863-8141, or email Haley Todd at cvv@covivo.org for more information. Upon request, we are pleased to provide the necessary tax exemption letter to your attorney or financial advisor.

Qualified Retirement Plans

Naming CVV as a beneficiary in your qualified retirement plan (IRA, KEOGH, 401(k) or 403(b)) could result in more assets being passed to your heirs than if you make a bequest from other funds in your estate. Call (303) 863-8141, or email cvv@covivo.org for more information.

Life Insurance

Another very easy way to continue your support of CVV is through a life insurance gift. You can purchase a life-insurance policy and bequeath it to CVV. Many people have a whole life policy that is no longer needed to protect you or your family. You can make a change in the beneficiary so that CVV receives the benefit of that policy. Call (303) 863-8141, or email cvv@covivo.org for more information.

In-Kind Donations

CVV also accepts in-kind gifts such as Furniture, tools, food, bus passes, vehicles, office supplies etc. Please call us at 303-863-8141.
